We pull the freshest batch from the week's roast. What's in the espresso hopper on Monday may be different from Friday — ask us what's on today.

Oat and almond available daily. Add $0.70 to any milk drink. We'll always recommend which roast pairs best with what you're having.

First Light rotates seasonally

First Light is our rotating single-origin slot. The roast notes and origin shift with each new green purchase — check the blackboard or ask at the counter.

Menu questions

Frequently asked

Do you serve food?

We keep the focus on coffee. No kitchen — but the harbour foreshore has plenty of options a short walk away if you need something alongside your cup.

Can I buy bags of coffee at the bar?

Yes — all four house roasts are available as 250g and 1kg bags at the counter. We'll grind to your preferred method or pack it whole bean. Stock is limited to what's been roasted that week, so it's always fresh.

What roast do you use for espresso drinks?

We typically pull Driftline or Harbourmaster for milk-based drinks and long blacks. The hopper changes with each roast run — ask us what's in today and we'll tell you exactly what you're drinking.

Is First Light always the same origin?

No — that's the point. First Light is our rotating single-origin slot. The country, region and flavour notes change with each new green coffee purchase. Check the blackboard when you arrive or email us at [email protected] to ask what's coming next.

Do you do decaf?

We don't carry a standing decaf roast at the moment. If that's something you'd love to see, drop us a note at [email protected] — we're always listening.

What are your opening hours?
